Telkwa Pass/Trapper Mtn

The Northern Trail Blazers riding club will be joining in on this ride.

Meet at Jonas Creek at 8:00 am Saturday morning then continuing on to 45 km were we will unload. Trip is between 70-80 miles round trip. You may need to bring extra gas and of course a lunch. The following day Sunday we will be taking our guests to either the Micro-wave or Dome. This will probably depend on our weather (hopefully it will be nice) there will be a lot of road riding to go to Trapper Mountain (about 80 km probably round trip) prepare for dust if it doesn't rain by then. We made this trip a couple of weeks ago, we unloaded at the Pass at 9:30 and did not make it back to the truck till almost 6:00 pm and we kept a fairly steady pace ate lunch and hiked a little. For new people going through they will probably take a lot of time taking pictures etc, maybe they will like the Pass so much they will not want to go through, who knows, but should prepare for a long day.

Please note that the Telkwa Forest Service road is in bad shape and makes for a rough and longer ride than usual in and out, so its recommended leaving your home a bit earlier than you usually would.
